Thoughts I've always been simple in everything I do, I do not question of separating people do not care if they are rich, if they are poor, if they are better or worse at what they do.What really matters is that first of all there are people with feelings, values, passion in what they do ...In Deviantart is the same thing, I love being here, I love to make friends with anyone, I do not care if it's super popular, super talented, or not.I like the people regardless of whether or not super talent.I like to enjoy their art, even to other eyes have not the least bit funny ... I value all making art with love ... people who are sincere in what they do and what they feel.Kiss them all.

Manip AcademyIntroducing a new project!Manip Academy (thanks, cristii, for inspiration for the name) is a new photomanipulation project inspired by projecteducate. We all love to learn, and we learn best from one another. Here's our chance to share what we know.Manip Academy is an education initiative designed to spread the knowledge and the love. It is a collaboration between CRPhotomanipulation and we-HEART-photomanip. We will share tips and tricks for photomanipulation success. It is difficult to write tutorials, but anyone can write a simple tip or describe how they achieved a specific effect. This project will feature two weekly articles written by the community every week, on Mondays and Thursdays. This will be an ongoing project within our community, and we hope that many people will take advantage of the chance to sign up to submit one blog or even just a few sentences to help the community. How you can helpEveryone is en

10 Simple Tips for Getting Your Art Accepted QUICKIt's troublesome for all of us when we have to ask you questions and, require you to withdraw and resubmit your deviation for one reason or another. Well, this document is designed to help prevent that so we can all have a nicer day!1. All Members:- When you upload your art to dA, select the proper category. ex. When a member submits a drawing to our Digital Art folder, but we see that it's in dA's Traditional Art category, we will ALWAYS question that.2. Digital and Traditional Artists:- List the media/tools/programs and reference image links you used to create your art in your description. This is a practice of Pros, and it helps us to ascertain that your art is submitted to the proper folder.3. Photographers:- If your art is a photograph, and you did any editing besides tweaking, or BW/Sepia conversion then we will probably consider it a photo-manipulation. This includes selective de-coloration. Submit it to our Digital Art folder.<b>

Photomanip: Working with TexturesWelcome!Textures are a critical part of so many photomanipulations, but they're not as easy to use as they appear. Below are some great examples of photomanipulations that, in my opinion, demonstrate excellent use of textures:The goal of this article . . .. . . is to serve as a resource for those of us who enjoy having textures be a predominant part of our photomanipulations and mixed media work so we can learn to use textures properly. Texture misuse or abuse can ruin an entire photomanipulation that otherwise might have been good. No matter how good we are at something, we can always grow to be better. This journal represents the opinions of only one person: me, and it does not claim to be the end-all,
Artists Toolbox: Photography DIY Tools Home Made Tripod I've shared this nifty little trick before - a home made tripod. It sounds impossible, but actually it's really practical and much easier than lugging the real thing around with you if it's not needed! Check out this articlefor more information on how to create it!Source: DIY Cameras Home Made Reflector Reflectors can be pretty expensive from time to time. I've been lucky to pick up a couple cheaply on Ebay and they serve the purpose but if you really want to save, then why not try making your own? This article shows you how with just three materials and the video below also provides further guidance - check it out
PE: Profile Designing with CSS[deviantART related]Want to learn how to make your page not just nice or pretty, but spectacular, unique, and all-around awesome? This article covers the newest stage in the evolution of profile design: Profile CSS.Please keep in mind that this article is only for Premium Members who are not beginners to profile design. If this is your first time trying your hand at customizing your profile page, you'll probably find the following articles more helpful than this one.Why use CSS?Although setting up and learning to code CSS for your profile can be a hassle, there are a great deal of benefits to using CSS instead of only HTML:Fonts: CSS allows for almost complete control over font styles, colors, and sizes (only limitation is that fonts must be Web Safe fonts or Google Fonts). HTML on DA is limited to only a certain n

Out of the Box - Photomanipulation Contest!Contest InfoIt's that time again. For this contest, you are being offered a "stock bank" to select your stocks from. There is no particular theme; just wing it! The majority (but not 100%!) of your manipulation must contain stocks from the given choices. You may find some textures or other little odds and ends to use. Also, you do not need to use a piece from each category listed below (but you can use more than one from the same category if you'd like). All stock/textures you are using outside of the bank must be legit. Make sure you read each stock artists' rules! This is a must. Also, always give proper credit and notify of usage. Please remember to do this, or the entry will not be accepted. There will be 3 different categories: beginner, intermediate, and advanced (when submitting your entry or entries via note,
PE Photomanip: Get your Fantasy on!**Note: These articles are for YOU. Please feel free to add the thumbs to your groups and enjoy them. If your requests to add yesterday's articles to your groups was declined, please resubmit. Thanks.**Current dA submissions guidelines define "Fantasy Photomanipulation" as photomanipulation that focuses on a fantasy theme. We have therefore set out to speak with our fantasy constituency and gain a better understanding of how they see and define the complexities of fantasy photomanipulation.Fantasy PhotomanipulationWe all know of dragons, wizards, sorcerers, witches, griffins, magic, fairies, fauns, and all other mystical and magical beings. We learned of them through stories, art, movies, and games. The fantasy genre has become increasingly popular because of movies like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter and games like "Dungeons & Dragons" and "World of Warcraft," not to forget fantasy wr

Photomanipulation Tournament 2014Something awesome this way comes!!!!We are excited to introduce our newest photomanipulation challenge to the community. This is a series of battles to determine who can out-manipulate the other teams. This is a super long journal, but please take a minute at least to skim it and find out what this exciting challenge is all about. If you want to register, there are instructions at the bottom. We are seeking prizes! If you are able to help, please leave a comment on this journal or contact Aeirmid. What is a manip-off?The manip-off is a series of "battles" in which rival teams/individuals challenge one another to reach beyond their photomanipulation skills and create something awesome. It's a battle to the death, and only one person or team will emerge victorious. We are looking for photomanip "champions," so there are three "rounds" of manipulations plus a championship round to choose a winner.Contestants

Destination: Relaxation!!Hey everyone! This week's journal is all about something that most of us do not do enough of:Relaxation! Some of us enjoy listening to music or exercising in order to relax, whereas others of us may meditate or take a nap. There's no right or wrong way to do it, but I hope this journal will give you some new ideas to try when you need once again to reach your center.Get away without going anywhereWe all know the value of getting away to some secluded isle, but in reality, how many of us can do that, either because of time or money (or both)? I challenge you to find a getaway in your own current vicinity-- sit under a sprinkler in your backyard, have a picnic at a local park, escape into a book in a local bookstore or library, or even enjoy a soak in your own bathtub. A little change of pace, even if the scenery is the same, does wonders for the spirit and for the level of everyday stress we are experiencing.Meditate . .
